Stephano and Sase are the only non-Koreans that made it to the second day of the Red Bull Battlegrounds in Austin. The fight for $41,000 continues today with the 8-player single elimination bracket.

Right from the start, Group A was destined to end dramatically one way or another. After getting a 2-0 against Ganzi and securing a good lead for himself, Stephano went on to play Violet in an MLG Spring Arena 2 revenge match, where he lost 0-2 in his worst match-up. The beginning of the Red Bull series once again tilted to Violet's favor as after thirty minutes of ultralisk versus brood lord action, the Korean took the lead. The prospects for Stephano were bad to say the least but the Frenchman endured and turned the series around, winning 2-1 and getting the top spot in the group which he would hold till the end.

More from Group A, the...

Bashiok promised a few hours ago that tomorrow the Diablo III team will come out with a post explaining what are they working on currently, some arbitrary time frames as well as some statistics about the current state of the game.

The amount of people who have even unlocked Inferno is so infinitesimally small, and the number of people who are attempting content beyond what their gear/skill allows, means we don’t really have a ton of data to look at yet. Plus the item economy at the higher levels is extremely limited just because the number of people able to progress is even smaller. People tend to underestimate gear value, or want difficulty progression to be a linear curve. Not everyone enjoys the steep difficulty incline and need to take a step back on improving their characters, builds, technique, etc. But it certainly is a case of overcoming difficulty through skills and gear as there are cases of all classes continuing to clear Inferno...

Guide: Getting into 'Development Hell' secret level

We've confirmed it: Diablo III has another secret level where you kill undead game developers. As if ponies were not enough entertainment!

Thankfully, getting Development Hell to spawn is much easier than grinding the Staff of Herding materials and it took this writer about thirty minutes of his time. This is what you do:

Select "The Shattered Crown" / "Northwest Gate" quest and go to the Cemetery of the Forsaken

Some people have stated that this is indeed the optimal quest for the crypt to spawn and you need to be on nightmare difficulty or higher. Apparently, the secret level will not spawn on normal but this shouldn't be much of a problem - it's been 11 days since the game's launch and having nightmare unlocked should be withing anyone's reach.

Check out the Cemetery of the Forsaken for a fourth crypt

As you know, only three crypts usually spawn in that area. If the Development Hell crypt spawns, it'll be in addition to...

Who's struggling with Inferno? Well, these guys aren't. Check out all the painful things a solo witch doctor and a solo barb do to some tough Act I fights.

Below we have the witch doctor going one-on-one (excluding his demonic entourage) with the Bucher and killing him in nine seconds.

According to a member of the incgamers forums, the build this doctor uses is this one. Of course, you'd need some gear first but at least you have some basic strategy of how to kill the fatty.

The next one comes from Kripparrian, currently one of the most popular Diablo 3 streamers. Krip uses one of the standard barbarian...

In their first 'live' appearance as the formidable Singaporean quartet since the addition of Jonathan 'Loda' Berg, Zenith are put in the hot seat with PMS*'s Tammy 'furryfish' Tang and five questions posed by Facebook fans.

Loda was prompted by a fan about his reaction to Singlish, to which he passed off as something he had already grown into with his girlfriend, Singaporean eSports personality Kelly "kellymilkies" Ong.

Missing from the mini-interview were questions about their The International invitation (it was presumably recorded before news broke out). When questioned about the team's strongest competitor in South East Asia, xFreedom highlighted Orange (in particular, Mushi).

The response was met with friendly jeering by master troll Daryl "iceiceice" Koh, who then relented and quipped in with "only Aeon!".

Matthieu Dallon (picture), the original founder of ESWC, comes in with a new company called OXENT to once again engage ownership over the worldwide competition movement.

Already in 2003, the Electronic Sports World Cup established itself as one of the most prestigious major events alongside World Cyber Games (WCG) and the CyberAthlete Professional League (CPL). After 9 successful events (including Masters of Athens, Paris and Cheonan) the company took a wrong turn during the global recession and filed for bankruptcy in May 2009.

DIP-Organisation, another French company, took over the brand a couple of months later and has since then kept the ESWC banner alive by hosting two major events. Eventually, a real estate profile named Jean-Pierre...

Following Lamn's transfer to EHOME from TongFu, 178.com immediately contacted TongFu's manager, CuZn, and he disclosed many details regarding the discussions. A rehash of the original controversy followed.

Recently, LanM's departure from TongFu to EHOME has become the centre of attention, and after multiple announcements by LanM and TongFu, both sides have reached an agreement.

Following that, EHOME's manager 71 accompanied LanM to TongFu's training base for negotiations, and both sides have amiably settled the dispute. EHOME would pay 50,000 RMB (6300 USD) on behalf of LanM for contract violations.
Thank you for accepting our interview, LanM's transfer issues are now almost done with. What are the results of the negotiations?
First, EHOME has offered an official apology to TongFu for poaching our player, and paid a total of 50,000 RMB...

http://gosugamers.net/dota2/images/DotA/2012-05-26_012316.png
Only two invited teams remain unknown for The International 2012 this year after Valve's decision to leave two slots open for wildcard qualifiers. Valve announces their latest invitations to the Seattle - and EG, Zenith, Darer and LGD are in on the fun.

The American outfit led by legendary Danish captain Maelk are in strong stead to perform at this year's event - Zenith are in a similar situation as only recently did they reconfigure their lineup with Jonathan "Loda" Berg after the latter moved over from his hometown in Sweden to Singapore.

Their recent takedown of EHOME, who were undefeated in their last eleven Dota 2 matches, suggests that the addition of the star carry/solo mid player will look to make them a formidable force this year, perhaps even besting the old Scythe's 3rd placing in 2011....

Rod "Slasher" Breslau sits with DreamHack Stockholm champion Thorzain for an interview about his transfer from Mousesports to Evil Geniuses, staying in Korea and plans for GSL participation.

In his first interview since joining EG, Thorzain explains in detail what made him leave his old team and join the American-based powerhouse. Marcus confirms that there were offers from other teams as well, but neither could match the deal Evil Geniuses offered.

- "It was basically only between EG and Mousesports. The other teams gave me offers similar to what I had previously in Mousesports, so none of them were very interesting. EG made the best offer by quite a lot. In the end I spent a lot of time to think about what to do, but I decided to join EG to give myself new challenges. I've always had some kind of competition in myself to become the best in the team. Even though Mousesports has...

Earlier in the tournament Team Pikachu managed to upset Team It's Gosu, who've been on a decline lately, and continued to fight their way through to the semi-finals. This achievement by the Swedish team was just about the only surprise of the tournament, with the usual suspects all reaching the later stages of the event.

Their Cinderella-story came to end when they lost to the Blackfade powerhouse 2-1 in the already mentioned semi-finals. On the other side of the bracket met the two heavy favorites in Frenetic Array and Trademark eSports, with the Australians coming out on top with a convincing 2-0.Trademark eSports got some consolation as they beat Team Pikachu in the 3rd place decider match.
