The Micros are Back! Well, Sort of…

It’s been four months since the last episode of The Micros was released. For those not familiar, The Micros is a series of animated video shorts revolving around poker and featuring three online grinders named Chase, Max, and Balls. Fans of the series will be disappointed to learn that future episodes are not yet planned for production, but will be delighted to hear that they can now get their Micros fix via a web comic strip.

"As it turns out, animation is really 'spensive, so instead of struggling to put out an episode every few months we're going to post web comics featuring the same characters hopefully a few times a week," Says co-creator John Wray. "If and when we get sponsored we'll get back to making cartoons, but in the meantime we hope you enjoy these."

The new web comic can be viewed via The Micros facebook page, where there are already a couple of strips up, the first featuring ESPN commentators Lon McEachern, Norman Chad as the review the new web comic and the second featuring Max and Chase as they struggle with the endless rumors of FTP being sold.
