Crown Casino Announces WSOP Asia-Pacific Schedule

The World Series of Poker and the Crown Casino of Melbourne, Australia have teamed together to create the World Series of Poker Asia-Pacific (WSOP APAC) taking place April 4th through the 15th in 2013. The multi-year contract is the first overseas export of the WSOP since it launched the WSOP Europe back in 2007. The series will consist of five bracelet events in its inaugural year, but is expected to expand to include even more events in the future.

The face of Aussie poker, and 2005 WSOP champion, Joe Hachem commented on the new series saying, “It’s thrilling to think the World Series of Poker is coming to Australian soil.
