Latin Cup 2004

[s]lan[/s]Latin Cup is one of the largest multi-game Lan tournaments in the world, hosted in Lima, Peru, this year, with players from Latin America. The three games being played are Counter Strike, Warcraft III TFT and of course Broodwar. This organization has in its mission statement the objective and vision to create ties of friendship and brotherhood among the Latin American youth through a language they all understand: e-Sports!

A particularity of this event in the best Latin style is that they have a beauty contest going on at the same time were participants and gamers vote and nominate a ?Miss Latin Cup 2004? queen. They have a well made commercial site with abundant news all in spanish that our Spanish readers can make use of. The pictures of the girls of course need no language.

Note: Rivc showed very good playing against a strong player like Pato.
Update - Official Results The Final of Latin Cup 2004 was Brazil Hellghost (winner bracket) vs Chile Keir (loser bracket) after leaving behind Peru Darki and Nostradamus from Uruguay.
Hellghost, the considered 'favorite to win' of the tournament and the player with most experience in the end, won 2-1.

Congratulations gold medal winner Hellghost from Brazil! A very good effort by the silver medal winner Keir from Chile who was this tournament's surprise star. I guess that history is repeated as it is in soccer ~ Chile lost to Brazil.
