Return of the Rogue Titan - Rivalcade OW Rumble

Rivalcade Overwatch Rumble has concluded and the results set. Throughout this tournament, there were plenty of upsets and surprising top contenders that kept viewers on their toes the entire time! Not to mention, some high-quality plays!

As of yesterday, the Overwatch Rumble concluded with many upsets and even more shutouts! To startthe day, Rogue versus Splyce was played. During this game, the chip was passed plenty of times with communication being the key aspect in team Rogue’s 2-0 win over Splyce. Continuing, the next match was Cloud9 vs. Selfless. This match proved to be worth the hype with over 8,000 viewers tuning in! Sadly, this match played out quickly with Cloud9 taking the upper hand, and taking the win at a 2-0 score as well. EnVy was put in a tough spot at the beginning of the day, starting against Rise Nation, as they quickly had to adapt to Internethulk leaving the roster. Even with nV playing with stand-in Lui, they powered through showing how much of a compatible team it is.

Getting closer to the conclusion of the tournament, we had plenty of amazing matches as can be expected from this event's participants. If you have some free time, we do advise you watch the final hours of the broadcast in its entirety.

Finals; Rogue vs. EnVy-Rogue wins, 3-2

The unknown factor, EnVy, was set and ready to go in the early start of this revenge match, after losing 2-0 in their earlier matchup. The two teams went back and forth on their first four maps (all payload/hybrid), thanks in part to Lui getting more used to his teammates. In the end, on Nepal, Rogue snatched the final point required for the 3-2 win, taking home the grand prize of $6,000! EnVyUs got the 2nd place prize and a lot of valuable game time right before heading back to Korea (alongside Rogue).

We can’t wait to see what else these teams have in store for us in Korea! APEX Season 3 kicks off in only a few days after all.
