Wilton “zews” Prado has announced his departure from SK Gaming to return to professional CS:GO as a player.

It was announced by Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo last night that Coach of SK Gaming, Wilton “zews” Prado will be resigning from the Brazilian roster. Prado has been with the roster since the addition of Lincoln “fnx” Lau and Epitacio “TACO” Pessoa to the Luminosity Gaming CS:GO team on the 23rd of November, 2015. Till date he was fulfilling the role of Coach to much success, contributing to the team’s two consecutive major titles at MLG Columbus 2016 and ESL One: Cologne 2016 both under the Luminosity Gaming and SK Gaming banners.

Jens Wundenberg, Marketing at SK Gaming said:

It is with mixed feeling that we have to say goodbye to Wilton today as he's been a member of the team just like any other player and an essential factor behind our success story. Despite the rather short period as part of SK Gaming, we've come to know him as a great coach and person and would always welcome him with open arms should he ever consider coming back.

With that being said, we wish him all the best going forward, both professionally and personally, and are extremely excited to face him on the battlefield. At the same time, we would also like to give thanks to Noah Whinston and the organization of Immortals, who have been extremely professional in handling this transfer and made sure all the formalities ran smoothly.

The ex-Coach will be pursuing a more active role within his future roster, going back to playing the game. As a reminder, Wilton “zews” Prado was on the starting rosters of ProGaming.TD and Yakuz4 e-SPORTS in 2013 and 2015 respectively, as well as his time on semXorah in 2008, playing Counter-Strike: Source.
