FaZe with alleged roster changes for Overwatch Contenders

Esports giants FaZe Clan are rumoured to be making roster changes for Overwatch Contenders.

FaZe Clan’s Overwatch team has been around for almost a year, being founded by the one and only TwoEasy in July of 2016. Since then, there’s both been highs and lows for the North American team. TwoEasy left in January, but before that the team has had multiple roster changes, and not really living up to their full potential. Now the news has broken that FaZe has signed up for Overwatch Contenders, with a freshly updated roster. It looks as follows:

Spree, Lui and Joemeister are then replacing z0mbs, Forsak3n and Mikeya, with the new addition Lui a pickup from EnVy. Lui joined them around the same time as Effect, initially as a trial, but after how much playtime Effect has received the speculation is that Lui then started looking for (and found) another home. The support player Joemeister comes from the newly disbanded compLexity, where he’s been from the beginning of his Overwatch career.

The last pickup is Spree, who most recently played in LG Loyal. Needless to say, these are some very interesting names that have brought together some experienced and talented players. There has yet to be an official statement from FaZe, but in the meanwhile, there’s plenty o’ speculation on Reddit (as usual.)
