EnVyUs trials two DPS for APEX Season 3

With APEX Season 3 kicking off tomorrow, EnVyUs is not a day late announcing their roster for the Korean tournament.

Roster shuffles seem to be taking place every day in Overwatch right now. Not long ago we saw Internethulk announce that he’d be leaving the starting lineup of EnVy, to try his hand at coaching Rogue. This week we’ve also seen LW Blue as well as Runaway confirm their lineups for the third season of APEX. Today, EnVy shared who’ve been picked up to complete their roster for the forthcoming tournament.

One of the subs is Effect, a Korean player known for his insane Tracer plays and effectful montage videos. Along with American Lui, these two will act as trialing DPS players during APEX. Lui has been around for a long time in the Overwatch scene; he played for H2K when they were a thing, and has also been a stand-in a few times for some tier 1 North American teams. Lui and Effect should both be able to play for example Genji, Tracer and Soldier at a high level. With the arrival of these two players, Harryhook is more than likely back to playing Lúcio.

While APEX Season 3 starts tomorrow, EnVy will not enter the tournament until the 16th of May when they will play against Meta Athena. EnVy won the very first season of APEX, and they now have the chance to make it 2 out of 3. More information about APEX can be found here.
