Team Laser Kittenz pick up two new players, Munchkin and Claris

After leaving Team Lunatic Hai , players Munchkin and Claris join Team Laser Kittenz.

It has barely been a day after Lunatic Hai announced that they have dropped both, DPS Byeon “Munchkin” Sang-Beom and flex Lee “Claris” Keon-Ho, for recent allegations. After leaving the team, the Laser Kittenz Twitter account confirmed that they had picked up the duo.

Laser Kittenz has not responded about the reason for picking up the duo, but they did post their official roster via Twitter.

Yesterday, these two players were under scrutiny in the community after leaving Lunatic Hai as quickly as they joined. Claris has been accused of using cheating software, being boosted, and unsportsmanlike conduct in his past. He has repeatedly claimed that all of these accusations aren't true, but did state he would be stepping down from professional esports for a while.

Munchkin, however, has also been a subject of accusation. According to Lunatic Hai, Munchkin owned a separate account to perform acts that would not properly represent his team's brand. Lunatic Hai had hoped that Munchkin would change his ways after he joined the team.

If we didn’t see signs of remorse or realization of his mistake from the player we would have never chosen him, Lunatic Hai said in a statement.

However, in addition to the separate account, Munchkin apparently had faked his identity, as the account was registered under the name of a coach from Munchkin’s previous team, Rhinos Gaming.

This is an exciting turn of events that no one could have seen coming. Alicus, the team's manager, sure knows how to keep his brand visible and in the public discussion. With an amazing roster such as this, Laser Kittenz will have high hopes of becoming a top tier team during their Korean bootcamp.
