Internethulk joins Rogue, instead of Laser Kittenz, as coach

Internethulk announced that he will be coaching EnVyUs rival Rogue. For him, it's about revenge.

On ChanmanV's the Overview, Internethulk announced that he will join Rogue as coach and will leave with them to South Korea to compete in OGN's Apex Season 3. He expressed immense gratitude towards his new organisation, saying that they trusted him enough that he could be part of the full French roster without being fluent in the language. This arrives the community as a surprise, as he had previously announced to be coaching for Laser Kittenz. Upon receiving the offer from Rogue, he decided otherwise and will now do whatever it takes for Rogue to win Apex. He emphasised that he was still very grateful about the generous opportunity Laser Kittenz extended to him in a time of need and now had to politely decline.

The interview started out with Internethulk clarifying the circumstances of his departure from EnVyUs. He stated that he was indeed cut from the team via a democratic vote by the members. He expressed a certain frustration with the situation, explaining that he was very much the creator and captain of the team. He felt he was the one making the important moves that made nV the overall best Western team in competitive Overwatch and for those reasons felt visibly disappointed with the situation. He went in depth, explaining that there were different forces within the team that hurt his confidence and he tried to compensate and acted against his better judgement, leading to a vicious cycle of worse performances and more issues with his teammates. It was an impassioned explanation in which Internethulk spoke from the heart, describing the sacrifices he has made. He felt the issues the community cited for their drop of in performance, namely the lack of a projectile DPS player, weren't the deciding ones, but a lack of practice and hard work. During the IDDQD days before they were picked up by EnVyUs, all of them would do nothing but grind the game. Once the comfort of contracts and great living conditions came in, this slowed down according to the 30 year old German.

In no unclear terms, he repeatedly stated that he was looking forward to taking revenge against his old teammates. The rivalry for the best European team from North America has therefore formally been announced and will hopefully be fought already in South Korea. The earliest the teams could meet each other is in the quarter finals of the event, as they were seeded in different groups. Internethulk furthermore declared their goal to be nothing short of a win at Apex Season 3.
