The $15 000 tournament of Overwatch Pit Championship is nearing the end of its group plays. But North America has still some more work to do beforehand.
Overwatch Pit Championship is still going strong! Now they’re onto North America’s Group B, where things are looking a bit… Messy. Since Rogue’s Knoxx has recently gotten married, their games got rescheduled. Therefore, some teams have played multiple games while Rogue had played 0 games until last night.
So far we can see two clear things from this group: Liquid is doing well with 3 wins in 3 played games, and underdog You Guys Get Paid? is struggling against the more established teams. They did however, take a map off of Liquid yesterday, as you can see in the clip below. What looked as if it could be a somewhat easy win for Liquid on King’s Row, turned into them fiddling with their ultimates. FaZe hasn’t started out that well either, losing to Liquid and Rogue 0-2 and to LG Loyal 1-2. But they still have time to redeem themselves, it’s not over in this group just yet.
