Group A of the North American games from the Overwatch Pit Championship is done, and here are the final standings.
The group play for Overwatch Pit Championship is nearing its end. We already know which teams had qualified for the playoffs from the two European groups. Recently, the North American Group A also finished their games.
Selfless had a pretty easy time in this group, finishing with a nice 5-0 score, only losing a map against Gale Force. Taking the three other playoff spots are Rise Nation, LG Evil and CLG, all ending the group play with three games won. The qualified teams from Europe are as follows:
The European games were fairly close, but that wasn’t really the case for the NA Group A matches. CompLexity looked sloppy most of the time, but they’ve recently undergone major roster changes. Gale Force struggled as well, but they managed to take a map from Selfless, something that is a feat on its own.
The adventures of the North American Group B continues tonight, with FaZe and Team Liquid among those in action. To watch, tune in to twitch.tv/overwatchpit at 9am PDT/01:00 CEST. At the moment the group will look a little odd, with some teams having played two games and some none. This is due to Rogue having to reschedule their games to accommodate Knoxx getting married (Congratulations!).
