TORNADO.ROX loses their Overwatch team

The Russian org is now without their Overwatch team as the players are looking elsewhere for support.

Now that the 2017 season has begun, teams are wanting to give themselves the best opportunities to compete to the best of their abilities. According to the now ex-TORNADO.ROX player Txao, their previous organisation was not as accommodating as the team wanted them to be, so they will now be looking for a more interested org to pick them up.

As said to Over.gg, Txao feels that CIS organisations are not very - if at all - interested in Overwatch, with those that are not being up to the standard that he and his team are looking for. Further on in the article/interview with Txao, he goes on to say that he and his team will be wanting an organisation that will be able to support the team so they may attend more European LAN events.

Even though the team will be leaving the organisation of TORNADO.ROX, the roster will remain the same, with hopes that their past results will be enough to draw some more support to their side. This is how the roster stands:

  •  Ilya "NLaaeR" Koppalov (DPS)
  •  Vitaly "FreeD" Popov (DPS)
  •  Ilya "Txao" Makarov (Flex)
  •  Max "Clozz" Khurkunov (Tank)
  •  Dmitry "Dikker" Borisenkov (Support)
  •  Andrey "Engh" Sholokhov (Support)
