There are a lot of things to keep track of in the Overwatch scene and it's become increasingly difficult to keep up with it all. Never fear as the GosuGamers Competitive Recap is here! We've compiled all the Overwatch news that's fit to print.
Released every week, the Competitive Recap compiles all the tournament and important news that's happened over the last seven days. Whether you're interested in big news, or want to stay updated on changes in teams, you can always tune in every week to see if there's anything you've missed.
Important News:
Overwatch player "TaZzeRk" first to reach lvl 1800
Did you reach lvl 1800 yet? No? Well TaZzeRk did! And he seems to be the first legit player to do so. Whatever you think about this achievement, you must agree that the portrait border looks pretty slick.
$5,000 Alienware Merry Melee scheduled for December 1st and 2nd
Alienware is setting up one more Monthly Melee this year, and it is happening today and tomorrow! We have returned to NA teams for this one, and are ready for another fun two-day event.
Here's a Suggestion: More communication commands
Overwatch is a pretty good game, but it is not perfect. We'd like to pose some suggestions that Blizzard might implement. This time we posed some additional communication wheel options.
Oasis soon playable on Public Test Realm
The upcoming Control Map, Oasis, is now playable on the PTR. Go check it, and its killer cars, out today.
Don't forget: Season 3 of Competitive play begins today
After a week of offseason, competitive play is back again with Season 3. Don't be mad when you place a bit lower than usual, it will happen to everybody as Blizzard has tweaked the algorithms slightly.

In one week's time, the triple region clash will happen in London. Three teams have qualified for this $75,000 Grand Finals, and MSI has completed the bracket with invitee Fnatic.

As stated before, today and tomorrow you will be able to tune in to our Twitch channel and enjoy some of the finest Overwatch play. Teams such as Kingdom eSports and Immortals will have to face top dogs like Cloud9 and FaZe, with a $5,000 prizepool waiting to be grabbed.

Grego, Reaver & Co are Really Cool Guys
Ex-Cloud9 players Grego and Reaver have been working on getting a new roster together, and they are now comfortable enough with their team to start playing in some events. The first event they will be playing in is the Alienware Merry Melee.
