December might traditionally be the month we focus a bit more on spending time with family, but we all know we'd rather be doing something else: playing and watching Overwatch. Competitive Season 3 has just started, and the Alienware Merry Melee will take care of all your entertainment needs.
Alienware has once again invited 8 of the best NA teams, including Rly Cool Guys, Grego & Reaver's new team.

As you are used to with the Monthly Melees, today's matches will all be part of the group stage that will seed the teams for tomorrow's playoffs bracket. The top two of each group will secure a spot in the Winner's Bracket, while the bottom two of each group will end up in the Loser's Bracket, one loss away from elimination.
The AMMs often produce surprising results, and offer an opportunity for teams to get closer to that top spot. Cloud9 still arguably holds that position, but they will need to play well to keep the likes of FaZe off their backs.
