The Competitive Recap: We list what you might have missed (October 21th - 27th)

There are a lot of things to keep track of in the burgeoning Overwatch scene and it's become increasingly difficult to keep up with it all. Never fear as the GosuGamers Competitive Recap is here! We've compiled all the Overwatch news that's fit to print.

Released every week, the Competitive Recap compiles all the tournament and important news that's happened since the last recap. Whether you're interested in big news, or want to stay updated on changes in teams, you can always tune in every Thursday to see if there's anything you've missed.

KongDoo Panthera to represent Asia at the MSI MGA LAN Finals

After a close, but not too close, Asian Qualifier for MSI MGA's LAN Finals, KongDoo Panthera was selected as the third and final qualifying team. They will represent Asia in London, joined by RiseNation, Ninjas in Pyjamas and the special invitee.

Fnatic invited to MSI MGA, will face RiseNation, NiP & KongDoo Panthera

Speaking of the special invitee, it was announced that MSI selected Fnatic as their personal champions. Fnatic, without iddqd, will joined the other three teams and play for the $75,000 prizepool.

MLG is bringing Overwatch to Vegas, with a $100,000 invitational

MLG, as part of Activision Blizzard, is hosting a 3 day gaming festival in Las Vegas. A big part of the appeal for us is the announced $100,000 invitational!

Competitive Rank changes on the PTR

With Season 2 ending soon, Blizzard has already started testing new changes for Season 3. Read about them in our article, and then go experience them on the PTR.

Iddqd departs from the Fnatic roster, as tryouts for the position open up

Iddqd and Fnatic decided to part ways this week. Even though the Fnatic roster was increasingly successful, they are now looking to get a solid replacement and continue that streak.
