The second of three alienware monthly melee tournaments starts tomorrow with 8 of the best North American teams battling it out for a $5,000 prize pool.
It’s time for yet another Alienware Monthly Melee. Some of the best teams in North America will be joined by a few exciting up-and-comers to put on what promises to be an exciting 2 days of Overwatch action. This will be the second of three Alienware Monthly Melee’s taking place in the month of October. The first took place on October 6th-7th, with Cloud9 taking the win after defeating compLexity in the final, 3-1. The teams will battle it out for a $5,000 prize pool!

Champion of October’s earlier Monthly Melee tournament, Cloud9, returns to defend their crown. They will be joined in Group A by MSI MGA North American representative, Rise Nation, Tempo Storm and Kingdom OW. Group B will feature FaZe, Immortals, Denial and Method. The group stage will feed into a double elimination bracket with the top two from each group moving into the upper bracket and the bottom two going to the lower bracket. The Alienware Monthly Melee has always been kind to Cloud9, the North American powerhouse has won four of the tournaments and been in every final. It remains to be seen if the new look squad can continue that dominance or if the upstart Rise Nation can pull off another upset but one thing is clear, you won’t want to miss this tournament!
