FaZe shoots for a four-peat in ESL's King of the Hill

ESL's King of the Hill is back once again and this week promises to be a thiller. FaZe looks to win their fourth consecutive championship in the popular tournament series. This time around they will be challenged by Cloud9 and the Harambe Comets.

It’s Tuesday and that means it’s time for another iteration of ESL’s King of the Hill tournament. As always, their version features a unique qualifying format. One team qualifies through their Go4Overwatch tournaments, one is invited and the King returns to defend their crown from last week. This week FaZe will try to win a fourth consecutive crown, while the challengers include invited team Cloud9 and Cup champion the Harambe Comets.

The first match of the day will be between the Harambe Comets and Cloud9. While any team that makes it through a Go4Overwatch tournament is good, the new comers will face a massive uphill climb to beat Cloud9. The former number 1 ranked team in the world may not be the undisputed best anymore, however they are just a half-step behind current Overwatch superpower, EnVyUs. Waiting in the wings is FaZe, last week’s King of the Hill. FaZe is fresh off a disappointing weekend, losing in the final of the GosuGamers European weekly and finishing top 4 in the North American tournament.  The NA/EU mixed team will look to come out strong and hold on to their crown for another week.
