Who to look out for

EnVyUs

Coming hot off the heels of a disappointing finish at the Atlantic Showdown, EnVyUs is going to look to bounce back in a big way at the OW Open. They are still our number one ranked team in the world and already have an impressive legacy. After dominating the last two months of online play EnVyUs will look to get right back in the saddle and prove that the Atlantic Showdown was a fluke. A motivated EnVyUs is a scary thing, expect the boys in blue to show off a return to form for this tournament.

Rogue

Rogue is the speed bump that finally derailed EnVyUs. After defeating the number one squad in a tight five game series at the Atlantic Showdown, the French/Swedish mixed team went on to win the tournament. This is not the first time Rogue has had LAN success, they also won TakeOver, held very soon after release. Rogue is riding high after their recent win and if aKm can keep up his impressive form from the Atlantic Showdown, they look poised to add another trophy to a quickly crowding case.

Reunited

A European powerhouse that can never be counted out, Reunited is fresh off yet another finals appearance. Though they were soundly beaten by Rogue in the final of the Atlantic Showdown, this is not a team that stays down for long. Reliable and resilient, Reunited has proven time and time again that they will show up when it matters most. The OW Open features the largest prize pool in Overwatch so far, expect these perennial finals staples to show up in full force.

Fnatic

The North American/European mixed team has an impressive pedigree. Born of the old beta gods Hubris and Swedish superstar iddqd, Fnatic seems ready to make their mark on the scene. Currently ranked 6th in the world, they have accumulated a few top 3 finishes and escaped a difficult group at the Atlantic Showdown. They qualified for this tournament in dominant fashion, winning NA Qualifier #3 without dropping a game. When this team is firing on all cylinders, they pose a serious threat to every top team. Expect a break out performance from this team.
