NBA legend Shaq's org NRG signs old Luminosity

After the contract between Mixup and Luminosity expired at the end of July, Mixup did not wait long to sign with their new organization. Seagull and company are now welcomed into Shaq’s “NRG Esports”.

We’ve had quite a few exciting days with Overwatch news. Method and NIP has both in the past few days announced the signings of their teams, and Liquid has officially welcomed 2 players into their organization. But it doesn’t end there. Today the organization called “NRG Esports” has signed the old Mixup team, which recently parted ways with Luminosity. The co-owner of NRG, NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal, was not shy on twitter a few weeks ago when he showed his Twitter audience what his intentions were:

The old Luminosity team is currently ranked 8 in the world, and has been a household name when it comes to the competitive Overwatch scene. Not only do they have the top Overwatch streamer Seagull, they have been a contender for the top/middle spots in tournaments for quite some time now. If you want to see what they can do under their new flag, they will be playing in the ESL Atlantic Showdown NA qualifier tonight.
