What can we expect?

Creation eSports

Creation has been a strong contender in EU for a long time. They are capable of beating any of the top teams, and should be considered early favorites for this event. Their extremely strong sniper play from Linkzr makes them dangerous in any meta, on any map. They made their name early on as titans of KOTH, and still excel at that game mode.

Rogue

This roster features a lot of familiar names. Perhaps most familiar are DPS players Tviq and iddqd. Both are capable of carrying a game by themselves, and Tviq especially has an extremely deep hero pool from which to deal damage. Reinforce is a staple on Reinhardt, and rarely makes a mistake. This roster has the potential to win, and they expect nothing less than first place.

Melty eSports

Melty is a team that dominated the very early stages of closed beta tournament play. They made their name off of strong defenses and Symmetra play, but then seemingly fell out of the scene entirely. They did win the first LAN of Overwatch, but it was not against the strongest competition. Their recent results against top teams have been less than stellar, and they need to at least make matches close against Creation, Rogue, and SG-1 to be considered a top Overwatch team again.

SG-1

SG-1 was a mid-tier EU team for most of the beta. However, they 2-0'd REUNITED in the recent ThePlaysTV Overwatch launch event, and stunned nearly everyone who has been following competitive Overwatch. They made a deep run in the Alienware monthly melee as well, largely because of the stellar tank play from Hymzi and Fragi. SG-1 is a team on the rise, and one looking to continue to prove they are now a top-tier EU team.
