GosuGamers is excited to continue with the OW Weeklies today

We feel like our Overwatch Weekly tournaments were home to some of the best pre-betabreak matches. This is also why we are excited to get this event series back on the rails, starting with today's EU Weekly #3 for a prize of $120.

We are officially back! We are excited to again host weekly tournaments both on Saturday (on EU server) and Sunday (on NA server). Certainly everybody is excited to see the teams from before the break, as well as any new teams, go head to head again on the new game version. Will we see a lot of the Control maps? Have Torbjörn's and Bastion's buffs been enough? What about the rework to how players now gain Ultimate charge, does that mean Junkrat can now provide viable damage? All of these questions might be answered today, when we start up the EU Weeklies again.

For those unfamiliar with the format, GosuGamers hosts these tournaments with a prize pool of $120 for each event. The event consists of a Single-Elimination bracket, with matches being Bo3's until the finals (Bo5). All maps are allowed and we don't place restrictions on what and how many heroes can be played. The maps will be chosen by the players through a drafting process, made possible by our drafting tool at OWDraft.com, read more about how that will work here.

We will be streaming games on these Twitch channels:

Notable teams include REUNITED.gg, Melty eSports and Eccentric. The bracket will go online as soon as the tournament starts, so keep an eye out on our Twitter for that. Don't forget to tune in at 18:00 CET. If you are unable to tune in live, we will upload the VODs to our YouTube channel within a day or so.
