In case you forgot: how to actually prepare for the return of Overwatch

Nearly 5 months ago, one helpful redditor by the name of zion48 wrote an extensive guide for FPS players to prep their PC's to give them every possible advantage. If you haven't already bookmarked this, you should.

Five months ago, Overwatch beta was just about to be released for the first time. The community exploded with tons of content, all promising tips, tricks, and methods to prepare your self for the inevitable 24 hour Overwatch marathon sessions of streaming, viewing, and if you were lucky, playing.

And for those of us who were able to play, zion48 produced this excellent guide on how to "actually" prepare for Overwatch. The word "actually" is important, because this guide goes over all of the nitty-gritty details needed to optimize ones PC for FPS glory. There is no theory crafting here, just practical advise that everyone should adhere to.

Did you know you should plug your mouse directly into your motherboard or that a 120hz or 144hz Monitor is needed for an optimal FPS experience?  I didn't, but I'm glad people like zion48 exist to rid me of my ignorance.
