The tournaments are hitting the streams this weekend, featuring top notch and aspiring teams alike.
As we announced earlier this week, the Overwatch Weeklies by GosuGamers are coming. Held on both the NA and EU servers, these open tournaments feature a $120 prize pool each and are aimed at developing the first ever storylines of competitive Overwatch.
We are also making sure that you don’t miss any of the action. Both tournaments will be streamed live on twitch.tv/gosugamers and casted by our talented duo of commentators.
Andrew “ZPs” Rush is a competitive player and streamer with rising popularity. Known for his deep involvement with the Heroes of the Storm scene, ZPs is not only a member of the Tempo Storm streaming line-up but has also competed in numerous Heroes tournaments as a member of Evil Geniuses and Glorious! Gaming. ZPs is a born entertainer and will make sure there’s never a dull second during the Overwatch Weeklies casts.
Our own Robert “Hexagrams” Kirkbride will be his co-host. A member of the GosuGamers editorial team, Hexagrams comes from a solid Team Fortress 2 background and boasts broad expertise in dynamic hero-based team games. Hex is also one of the co-hosts of GosuGamers’ Overwatch podcast “Capture Points” and you can expect him breaking down the nature of each match and providing insightful analysis of Overwatch strategies.
The debut of the Overwatch Weeklies with ZPs and Hexagrams will be today, November 28th, 18:00 CET on the European server. Join them and watch as top teams in the region like Fnatic, Flipsid3 and WatchOut bring in the heat. There's still room left to register in case you want to take part in the action.
