First Overwatch stream set for Thursday

Coming Thursday, on the 15th of October, the very first official Overwatch stream will be broadcasted on Twitch.

In a short, but clear announcement Blizzard made the hype train switch to even higher gears. Starting at 10 a.m. PT (7 p.m. CEST) on Twitch this Thursday, fans can join the two streamers Haylinic and Ellohime live from the Blizzard headquarters during a 1.5 hour long stream. The two will be joined by Blizzard staff during the matches, which promises a lot of action never seen before by many. The original post also reads “upcoming Overwatch beta”, words of which Overwatch enthusiasts must be tired on the one hand, but on the other hand will give them a gleam of hope.

During the last week more and more well known people within the eSports scene were invited by Blizzard to give Overwatch a try at the headquarters. Andrey “Trolden” Nolden, well known in the Hearthstone scene for his YouTube videos, was invited after showing a lot of interest in the game during Road to Blizzcon in Prague. Other streamers, YouTubers and other influencers who also had been eyeballing Blizzard’s upcoming IP were invited as well. A few of the people invited were (naturally) excited to share their invitation on Twitter, as can be seen in the image below.
