Player Spotlight: Zebbosai, Brains and Aim

In this series from GosuGamers, we are going to introduce you to some of the best players that Overwatch has to offer. A lot of the current top players have competed at a high level in various other games and genres before joining the Overwatch scene. These player profiles aim to provide you with information on their previous competitive history (including team history) as well as a brief overview of the player's Overwatch preferences. Gaming History

Swedish player Sebastian "Zebbosai" Olsson comes into Overwatch already well-known for his prolific exploits in the smaller Team Fortress 2 community. Perhaps best known for playing pocket soldier, he would prove his versatility by also playing roaming soldier, scout and even medic in competitive sixes at the top level. Zebbosai got his first taste of Overwatch at a high level playing with former TF2 teammate Ryb at Creation Esports in February. He would go on to play for Ventus Gaming and Swedish team Impulse 11, playing alongside familiar names such as IDDQD and Vonethil. Following the breakup of that team, he found a home in the newly formed Graviton Surge team late May, who quickly became serious contenders after their formation, taking 3rd place in TaKeOver Overwatch tournament merely a week after their formation. The now Misfits team are arguably the best side in EU at the moment.

It might seem incongruent to some that a player of his skill and calibre would be playing a support role, but Zebbosai's role on the team is one of the many reasons for their success. Zebbosai was originally brought on to play the DPS role for Graviton Surge, however he swapped to Lucio to act as the main shot-caller for the team. The switch actually prompted a 23 game winning streak for the side, during which they won the Gosugamer's Overwatch Weekly EU 13# Go4Overwatch Europe Cups #3 and #4, and the Amazon Gaming Series, proving Zebbosai's calibre as a shot-caller at the highest level in Overwatch. Being the brains behind the team with the pace of the game is no mean feat, and his mechanical skill means that he poses a threat to opposing teams no matter what hero he's playing.
