GosuCup SEA is ready for its fifth edition. As with every odd week, this tournament will be a regular one, meaning that unlike "budget" cups, all cards are allowed.

The tournament is open and free to enter for anybody from the South East Asia region. The top 3 competitors will not only get sent to the grand finals in February but take home the lion's share of the prizes as well.

Prize distribution

1st place: $100 + a spot in the grand final
2nd place: 25 keys + a spot in the grand final
3rd place: 10 keys + a spot in the grand final
4-8th place: 5 keys
All Ro64 participants: 10 rares

Nice! Can we register for future cups as well, though?

But of course! Besides GosuCup #5 which will take place in the last weekend of November, all December cups are now also open for registration. Below are the dates and the registration links for all. Note: Budget cups only allow for basic, common and rare cards to be used.

All tournaments start at 14:00 SGT. Check-in starts at 12:00 SGT.

Who's already in the finals

Last week, the first three players to go to the grand finals were determined. After a stacked 190-man tournament, it was Dennisgosu from Malaysia who won the $100. He'll be followed into the closing tournament by Alexieishere from Indonesia and Ferdzm from the Philippines, who also split the lions share of the Dota 2 keys as prize.

Grand finals line-up (8/32)

Malaysia Dennisgosu
Indonesia Alexieishere
Philippines Ferdzm
Vietnam DaPh
Thailand Crunchyboy
Indonesia Mokochiro
Singapore Jizzes
Vietnam Condauco

Tournament structure and prizes: How to win cash prizes and Dota 2 keys and rares

Each week, the circuit will alternate between normal and "budget" cups, the latter of which will only allow for basic, common and rare cards to be used so even the Hearthstone newcomers will be able to compete, and on even ground with the "rich" players at that. The winners will go home with cash, Dota 2 keys and rares as well as a spot in the $500 grand finals.

All things summed up, we'll give away $1,300 in hard cash and more than $5,000 in Dota 2 keys and rares!

Tournament coverage

Every single cup - whether a regular or a budget one - will be extensively covered on GosuGamers with editorial pieces. Winners will get interviewed and get their names and stories across to the GGnet readership, gaining valuable exposure for themselves. What's more, as is GosuCup tradition, each nation will win points depending on its representatives' performance to determine which was the most consistent country over the course of the circuit.

Every piece of coverage - from results, to news, decklists and registration links - will be available in our dedicated coverage hub. This all-in-one page will keep you updated at all times on the progress of the circuit.
