By besting two of his own teammates in a row, Byung Hyun "YoDa" Choi lifts the IEM World Championship trophy as well as the cheque for $30,000.

With a 9-4 score in the group stage and his only loss to First himself, Yoda entered the playoffs as somewhat of an underdog and the IEM bracket made sure to throw the best it has to offer at the young terran.

Despite facing a names of much greater renown, Yoda refused to die again and again. Sending first Parting and then MVP packing, reached a grand final in which he had to play the only one that ever managed to beat him - IM.First.

If their group stage match was a close one, same could not be said for the grand final. YoDa and his multitasking were virtually everywhere and First times and times again was unable to find answers to the terran aggression. The score was quickly put to 3-0 and the two spawned on Entombed Valley, First one game away from elimination.

What started as a match that could have gone either way soon became ugly as First missed a storm after storm and was soon overwhelmed by YoDa's bio. A flawless 4-0 victory went to the terran and with that the title of Season 7 World Champion of Intel Extreme Masters.
