Empire hosts tournament with M5, SK and more

Empire might be best known as the team that let go of Moscow Five, but their $1000 tournament will see them step back into Leauge of Legends.

It’s been a while since we saw Team Empire involved in LoL, but now they are making an appearance as tournament hosts. EmpireTV will broadcast an eight-team tournament, starting on September 15 and featuring some of Europe’s best teams. Former-Empire team, Moscow Five will probably enter as favourites, but they will have their work cut out against the likes of Fnatic, SK and more.

The double elimination tournament ends on September 16, with the winners splitting $1000 between them. The whole winner bracket will be best-of-three, while the loser bracket will be best-of-one until the final, where it goes back to best-of-three again. Of course, GosuGamers will be here all weekend to bring you the best coverage.
