Erik "Doa" Lonnquist announced his departure from IPL and will be pursuing a career as a caster for OGN.

Doa got his first televised casting gig for GomTV in March last year, partnering with Wolf, Khaldor and Moletrap, the latter currently with OGN. Doa stayed with Gom till November last year and moved back to United States, joining the casting crew of the IGN Proleague.

After seven months with IPL, Doa is saying goodbye to the American organization and will be moving back to Korea to cast the OSL.

-"I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunities IPL and IGN gave me in bringing me on in January as one of their in-house casters, but I can’t seem to stay away from the land of Gangnam Style!

I’m looking forward to commentating the OSL and being back in the country I got to know and like quite a bit last year. I wish everyone at IPL the best and I’m excited to continue working with David, Kevin, and the rest of the crew at IPL5 later this year and other future events. Please watch me on OnGameNet, but also keep watching the IPL! The new team league is going to be great and there’s plenty more good stuff on the way."

The soonest we might see Doa beside an OSL casting desk is on August 7th when the remaining two groups of the KeSPA dual tournament will be played.
