As we reported earlier, the new season of the OSL will consist entirely of StarCraft 2 matches and the qualifiers for it are set to begin in early July.

In order to take part in the qualifiers, those contenders not affiliated with KeSPA teams will have to be members of one of the nine Korean SC2 teams FXOpen, Incredible Miracle, SlayerS, NS_HoSeo, MVP, Prime, StarTale, ZeNex and TSL or be in masters league or higher at the end of season 7.

The offline preliminaries will take place July 2-3 and the matches will be Bo3's on Antiga Shipyard, Entombed Valley and Ohana. The members of the KeSPA teams will have their own separate qualifier, dates for which have not yet been announced.

The new season of the OnGameNet Starleague is scheduled to begin in mid-July.
