One week ahead of what is expected to be one of most competitive Dota 2 tournaments in 2012, Moscow5 CGO Alexander "ТРЕНЕР" Ovsjanko informed via the team's homepage and facebook account that the Russian Dota 2 squad will not be present in Jönköping for the event.

Following struggles with the applications for foreign passports and two players being on the verge of fulfilling military service, efforts to attend DreamHack Summer had to be called off, Ovsjanko said in the official press release.

With Igor "Admiration" Kalnysh being confirmed as the latest addition in mid May, management and authorities were left with not enough time to get everyboy legally accross the border.

Moscow5 were expected to attend after winning the first DreamHack online qualifier one month ago. The Dota 2 tournament of DreamHack Summer will take place from the 16th of June until 18th of June in Jönköping, Sweden.
