First edition of 4PlayersLeague's Play4DotA2 tournament has gone into semi finals. SK Gaming, Moscow Five, Team Empire and mTw battle it out on Thursday, starting at 18 CET.

The first semi final will be SK Gaming vs. Moscow Five. SK Gaming's new team formed around Sayuri with some players not yet revealed has taken out team DevilMice in the quarter finals. M5 faced mousesports in the quarter finals, which played with a stand-in in that game, with M5 getting the better end out of it.

In the other semi final will be Team Empire against mTw. Team Empire had the seemingly weakest enemy with team FUCKYEAH from Germany. mTw in contrast had a pretty tough way to the semi final with zNation in round 3 and CLG in the quarter final against them. mTw, however, fought with syndereN, but also with four stand-ins, of which one was Kebap.

Semi finals and final are best-of-threes

The semi finals will be played on Thursday at 18 CET in best-of-three mode. The final is scheduled for 21 CET the same evening. Questionable about the tournament was the seeding. Already in round 2 there were two top games: fnatic vs. DevilMice and even more ridiculous for the round of 64, DTS vs. CLG.

Play4DotA2 is a 2-day open tournament organized by German-based 4PlayersLeague. Prize pool is 500 Euros for the winner, nothing for runner-ups. 90 teams had signed up for this first edition.
