Two-time DreamHack winner sits out?

What does 2004 and 2006 have in common? Both years had ElakeDuck as the champion. Even though he is attending the event this time he does not plan to participate this time.

If we go back one year and looked up ElakeDuck he was the Swedish representative in World Cyber Games. In April this year he left fnatic and since then we have not heard much about him. GosuGamers was surprised to see him here at DreamHack, since we thought he was wiped off the WarCraft radar.

We asked him if he was going to play in the tournament, but he did not show any interest in playing in this year's tournament. Maybe he has decided to put his gaming career behind him?

He began his career like many others, on Battle.net. Back in 2003 an unknown Orc player fought his way through the ladder and reached an high rank position. Shortly after that he won of the Battle.net tournaments and from there it just went on. He left his home team KöttBjörnarna and joined up with Plan-B. There he fought along with SaSe and LeiZ before he took the big step and joined up with the WC3L team 64AMD.

He was the first Swedish player to reach level 50 on battle.net's ladder. and he has quite a few achievements in his backpack, such as winning DreamHack twice, a second place in WEG Europe Season 2, and a third place in CPL Summer 2005.

It remains to be seen if ElakeDuck will sit this tournament out or if he will give us another show for the road.
