The two strongest teams from South East Asia, MVP Phoenix and Fnatic will fight for the one SEA qualifiers spot at ESL One Manila. Both have received tier one invites and will start from the second round of the bracket.
A bit over one month is separating us from the first big LAN event that will be held this year at Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines. ESL One Manila is set to start on April 22nd with eight teams competing for the $250,000 prize money. Five are already known; Team Secret, Team Liquid, Team Empire and compLexity Gaming. They will be joined by the winners of the SEA, Philippines and China qualifiers. However, no information has been released yet on the Chinese qualifiers.

Philippines had special open qualifiers for their internal clubs and organizations and the top eight squads that made it through all the rounds and brackets will now be placed in a single elimination bracket with four directly invited teams. The direct invites will start the competition from the quarter finals round.

For the SEA region ESL has applied their traditional two tiers of invites where the better ranked teams will start from the quarterfinals. Both MVP Phoenix and Fnatic have received tier one invites and they will not play each other until the grand finals, if of course, they make it that far.
