Citing "quite a bit of disappointment" from mistakenly ending a prior bonus EXP event early, Blizzard is making up for lost grinding time.
The previous bonus XP event ended a day early, and many people weren't happy. After some public outcry, the community asked for more XP and Blizzard caved in. A 100% XP Bonus for the American region of Battle.net starts at 1:00 p.m. PDT on Thursday, July 2 (that's today), and ends at 1:00 p.m. PDT on Monday, July 6.
For other regions around the world this event will begin at 1:00 p.m. local time on July 2, and will end at 1:00 p.m. local time on July 6. We should all use this time to get as much bonus XP as we can, so don't waste your time doing boring things in real life. Go make Blizzard proud get your additional XP points.
