Rascal Jesters and Veck advance to JCG Grand Finals

Both semifinal series resulted in upsets as premier Japanese teams DetonationFM and Ozone Rampage were toppled by the competition.

Veck chases DetonationFM from the baron pit to take their series.

The first series between Rascal Jesters and Ozone Rampage was all about the mid lane, as the side lanes remained fairly even, with a slight advantage going to whoever played Renekton at the time.  apaMEN's commanding control over tei's Kayle got him cs leads in the triple digits.  His Nidalee in the first game didn't have the power of his Orianna in games two and three, which led to Rascal Jesters' strong turn around.  Even Envy's heavy Lee Sin pressure in the third game granting tei three early kills could not prevent apaMEN from snowballing and leading his team to victory.

The second series was more about bottom lane and jungle.  With both sid and Analace, DetonationFM struggled to get control of their jungle.  After a commanding victory in the first game, sid flailed in the second, and Analace's Amumu underwhelmed viewers in the third.  In addition, Ma's Janna ults often came early, and continuous mistakes allowed Veck to come ahead in the second and third games of the series, chasing DetonationFM from the baron pit to advance to the Grand Finals.
