The second set of games of LCS Spring Playoffs was the fan favorite Counter Logic Gaming going against Vulcun. Vulcun came into this game with plenty of aggression, picking up first and second blood on Doublelift and Aphromoo at top lane. CLG had tried to play with two Sightstones to have vision in every corner of the map, however even with the vision Vulcun was just shutting CLG down whenever and where ever they could.

20 minutes into the game Vulcun was showing complete dominance over CLG as they were up 10 to 1 in kills, 4 to 0 in turrets, and approximately 10k gold ahead . With Vulcun going for Baron, CLG decided to initiate the 4v4 only to be demolished by Zuna, Mancloud, Bloodwater, and Xmithie. The entire time that the fights were happening Sycho Sid was pressuring the lanes leading CLG being spread apart. A 15k gold lead and a 22-6 in kills Vulcun dominantly crushed CLG in game one who did not even manage to get a single turret.

CLG in game two shrugged off the first game completely and looked to be the dominant CLG of the past. L1nk played like a beast in game two going 8/0/6 and was shutting down Vulcun at every chance with impressive shockwaves. Chauster and Hotshot utilized their tankiness all game combining for 6/1/21 to just destroy the back line. At 27 minutes into the game CLG just dives Vulcun under the inhibitor turret and completely crushes Zuna, giving CLG a ever expanding lead. With so much tankiness on their team CLG finishes the game with two players who did not die once in the 32 minute game going 16-4 and a 16k gold lead.

Game three was once again a fairly even match to begin with. Both teams played pretty standard to start and was trading gold leads constantly. Vulcun had the slight lead to begin the game taking two towers and a kill, but really started to shine once the dragon attempt started. Godwater as Vulcun calls him, constructed a perfect opportunity at the dragon 16 minute in to lock down 4 for 1 with an amazing Crescendo. Zuna was playing smart and taking chances to escape fights and utilize Tristana's long range to pick members of CLG off one by one. The rest of the team did not slack either as Xmithie's Jarvan played a godlike 0/1/15 participating in all but one kill. ManCloud demolished CLG with Diana and convincingly ended the game with an 8/1/5 record.

Vulcun's lead only escalated from that point forward sending CLG into a state of panic. At the 25 minute mark the panic seemed to have shaken the team causing some miscommunication causing CLG to be down 10 to 1 and 9k down.
Doublelift and Zuna were the main matchups of the third game as they both were attempting to get themselves a 6 item AD carry. However with a much stronger team Vulcun manged to shut down CLG in one final team fight at 40:36 leading to a 16-5 victory. Each member of Vulcun died no more than one team and showed just how well they synergized.

With CLG knocked down to the regulation round, Vulcun follows the footsteps of GGU and becomes the second underdog team to advance to semi-finals. Vulcan looks to face Team Solo Mid tomorrow April 27th at 02:00 CET.
