The Global Gaming League has announced that its new season, the “GGL 2k4", began on June 15, which is the same date as the launch of their new website.This self-proclaimed "world’s largest online gaming tournament" will have a season that will last for a total of seven months, issuing over $75,000 to the contestants of nine games.

The Global Gaming League’s new website has implemented several new features that help enhance each user's experience. One new feature is that the web site lets users communicate with other players through buddy lists and message boards. Also, member feed back to help ensure good sportsmanship and challenging systems to increase competition have been developed.
