King of the foreign Brood War scene ToT)Mondragon( has been challenged by Polish player MYM.Dreiven.
O how the mighty have fallen. When this tournament began German Zerg Mondragon shot to the top of the ladder stage with a commanding lead on every player below him. With good reason as well, Christoph Semke otherwise known as Mondragon has dominated the Brood War scene for years on end. It was expected he would dominate the early stages and go on to the finals, but today just the opposite happened.
Dreiven Shocks Everyone
Dreiven was expected to put up a good hard fight in this matchup and lose to the German monster 2-1. The GosuBet statistics are the most unbalanced in the whole Razer-TSL, with a almost 90% chance to win for Mondragon. The odds were stacked against Dreiven from the beginning and everyone knew it, especially since PvZ is Mondragons best matchup. Well Dreiven proved today that the odds do not always determine the out come.

Among the other games played today there were some other surprising upsets. Most notable new comer BRAT_OK took down favored Swedish player and former Dreamhack winner Haypro. The both of them fought very hard to gain their victories and the final game on Zodiac looked to be intense. Especially since Haypro went with a very unorthodox island expansion build. Unfortunately for him it did not work out and the Terran came out on top.
Dinot, Dreiven, BRAT_OK and NonY to Advance
The Ro16 is finally finish in the Razer-TSL and we have our competitors for the Ro8. After many long and grueling nights from the TSL admins and players in the TSL the finals are now in sight. Who will advance from these eight to win the 5,000 dollars that lie in wait for the victorous? Who knows, but one thing is for sure this is going to be an exciting tournament.

Next Weekend the Ro8
The next stage looks to be the most intense round of this tournament yet, though it will be hard to beat the games that went on today. With only one Terran left and a dwindling amount of Zerg it looks like the Protoss might have this locked down. The VODs for day two should be up on the TeamLiquid.net tracker very soon and tomorrow on YouTube.com. The next broadcast is coming up in a short five days so get ready to be amazed.
