P1 upsets C9 with a 2-0 sweep; CLG comes back from the brink to beat TL

Immortals vs. Echo Fox

Dardoch or Akaadian - who's the better jungler? Today's series answered that question, as Dardoch ran roughshod over the competition to spur his team to a 2-0 victory. IMT looked better today than they have in a long time, with good individual play combined with team coordination that has been missing over the last few weeks. Early leads translated to midgame power, and while IMT stumbled in both of their games, they were always able to close it out.

Dardoch's 14/6/12 cumulative KDA is obviously impressive, but Pobelter also had a pair of excellent games for IMT. His Jayce dealt almost 50k damage to champions throughout the series and finished with a 6/4/17 KDA - not too shabby. FOX meanwhile had its share of heroes - Froggen in particular played his heart out on Corki - but couldn't quite pull the games back.

Team Liquid vs. Counter Logic Gaming

Counter Logic Gaming haven't had the cleanest of matches this week, but somehow always pull through to win them in three. Despite losing game 1 to Team Liquid in lopsided fashion, CLG were able to hit their stride in subsequent games to take home the win.

Xmithie's Lee Sin is always a treat to watch, and he played excellently in today's series with a 7/3/16 cumulative KDA on the Blind Monk. On the other side of the alley, Reignover absolutely terrorized CLG with Graves in game 1, but unfortunately couldn't find success on Kha'Zix once the Outlaw got banned out.

Phoenix1 vs. Cloud 9

The loss to Team SoloMid yesterday must have rattled Cloud 9, as they looked fairly scattered in the series today against Phoenix1. Despite executing well on an individual level, C9 ultimately couldn't bring it all together to pull out a win and fell to P1 in two games.

Zig played phenomenally for P1 today. His Rumble provided a ton of pressure toplane by keeping Impact shoved under tower in game 1, allowing Phoenix1 to make plays elsewhere. On top of that, his unique Kled pick in game 2 proved to be just what P1 needed in order to engage on C9's immobile backline. This allowed Meteos's Olaf to shine - he absolutely annihilated his former teammates, picking up eight kills by the end of the game.
