Offseason moves update - 12/29

It's a light week for roster changes, but we've still got a few to talk over.

North American LCS

Cloud 9: Ever since the fracturing of their original roster, Cloud 9 has been slowly swapping out their older players for new ones. The latest replacement came this Monday, when Contractz officially replaced Meteos in the jungle. He's played for two Challenger teams prior to now, but will certainly have some big shoes to fill when this season starts.

Team Dignitas: Dig's new roster is coming along quite nicely. Since signing Kim “Ssumday” Chan-ho of KT Rolster and Lee “Chaster” Sang-hyun last week, they've also acquired Benjamin "LOD" deMunck, formerly of Team EnVy. LOD made his mark as a solid ADC last season, but it will be interesting to see how he'll adapt to playing with a new roster.

European LCS

Origen: OG's roster reform has been long awaited. They shed most of their veteran players following a close shave with relegation and haven't replaced anyone quite yet. However, rumors abound that Origen will be acquiring five new players for the 2017 season, including Max "Satorius" Günther, Kim "Wisdom" Tae-wan, and Erik "Tabzz" van Helvert. It's an interesting roster if it turns out to be true, but doubts remain as to Origen's ability to recover from their disastrous Summer Split.
