The season three finals of the Chuang League will be held in a LAN format between July 16-17th at the Nanjing Xinzhuang Exhibition Center in China, where students from China, Korea, USA and Australia will be duking it out in the Dota 2, Hearthstone, League of Legends and FIFA finals.
The event as a whole is organized by Shanghai Culture Communication Co. and will culminate this weekend in a large festival where, besides the Gaming competitions, visitors will have a plethora of extra activities to enjoy.
From anime and comic exhibitions to electro, pop, rock & hip-hop DJ performances; cosplay competitions and token-collecting prize challenges around the venue; as well as presentations by established game developers in PC, console, VR and AI games, an “Optimus Prime” inspired semi-truck and trailer outfitted with a (2 team / 10 man) tournament rig for competitions presented by ImbaTV, the Chinese Collegiate eSports League Festival is packed with exhibits you don’t want to miss.
Founded in 2015 as a global eSports event specifically geared towards college students, the third season of the bi-annual league started in April this year and registered a new participation record with 96 global Universities and over 50,000 students playing at the online stages of the competitions.
Sixteen teams made it into the LAN finals for Dota 2 and LoL and sixteen more individuals qualified for the Hearthstone and FIFA final stage.
Aside from the glory and the unique opportunity of representing their university at the biggest Collegiate eSports event, the winners of each game category will take home a generous chunk of prize money as well.

The Dota2 and Hearthstone finals will be fully covered over the two days in both Russian and English by Game Show from their studios located in Vilnius, Lithuania. The Dota 2 commentary will be provided in English by Trent 'MotPax' MacKenzie (@MotPax) from Moonduck TV and Gareth Bateson (@GBCasts) from joinDota, while HS competition will be commented by Adam 'itssBlue' Davis and TJ 'Azumo' Sanders.
