As we hit the half-way point of the 2016 EU LCS Spring Split, Fnatic has decided to go for a roster change in hopes of finding a long-term solution to their ongoing synergy problem.

After the departure of Bora “YellOwStaR” Kim, Fnatic lost not only their longest standing player, but also their team captain and shot caller. The team tried to rebuild their roster, but struggled to find synergy with their bot lane. ADC Martin “Rekkles” Larsson and Support Lewis “NoXiAK” Felix both have different play styles, making their laning phase difficult.

Although the team went 2-0 last week, changes were needed to ensure Fnatic’s long-term success. Fnatic announced that NoXiAK will no longer be part of their starting roster and rookie Johan “Klaj” Olsson will be replacing him.

Klaj’s debut performance will be against both Elements and Unicorns of Love. Only time will tell if Fnatic made the right decision to replace NoxiAK. Who knows? Maybe more changes will be needed.
