Team Vitality acquires Gambit Gaming's EU LCS spot

The French eSports organization announces their purchase of Gambit Gaming's spot and its first foray into PC gaming.

Team Vitality finally confirmed the rumors of the deal they made with the now-evaporated Gambit Gaming and have acquired their spot in the EU LCS. This marks the first time that Team Vitality, an eSports organization that is more known for its professional console shooter squads, will delve into the world of MOBA's and particularly League of Legends. Vitality has already reportedly signed their full roster and support staff. They also made the first announcement of their player roster by revealing the signing of Support player Raymond "kaSing" Tsang, formerly of h2k.

kaSing, who had previously tried out for Team SoloMid and played on their IEM San Jose squad, cited his desire to continue to develop his skills as a player as the main reason for staying EU. He also pointed at Vitality's reputation for taking care of their players and providing the proper resources for success as reasons for choosing this team over squads like Team SoloMid and Fnatic. The rest of the squad is planned to be announced "in the coming days" and, with the signing of kaSing and his excitement about his new team, Vitality's goal of "top three in Europe" doesn't seem quite such a lofty one.
