Fnatic officially part ways with Huni and Reignover

Despite making offers to keep them for the 2016 season, Fnatic have confirmed that Huni and Reignover will be leaving the team.

With an official announcement on the team's website, Fnatic has officially parted ways with their star Korean top laner and jungler. Heo "Huni" Seung-hoon and Kim "Reignover" Ui-jin both joined the team last season when Fnatic was in a period of major changes. The European squad had lost almost the entirety of its previously legendary roster including Enrique "xPeke" Cedeño, Paul "sOAZ" Boyer, Lauri "Cyanide" Happonen, and Martin "Rekkles" Larsson (who eventually rejoined the team in the summer split). Despite these major roster changes, Fnatic triumphed in Season 5 with its new players, winning both the EU LCS spring and summer splits and ultimately getting to the final four of Worlds before getting defeated by KOO Tigers in the semi-finals.

Following the end of Worlds, this offseason has been quite a tumultuous one with almost every team in every region going through at least one if not multiple roster changes. Now with the annoucnement of the departure of arguably two of the main reasons of their success, the European titans of Fnatic have shown that they are also not immune to this worldwide wave of offseason shuffling. Huni and Reignover have not officially announced which specific team they chose to make the move to, but have expressed through multiple sources that they are switching regions and transferring to the NA LCS. Fnatic also plans on making the official announcement of their new roster in the coming weeks.
