Denial eSports, home of the reigning Call of Duty Champions, has added another team to its already impressive arsenal.
The organization has acquired Team Gravy, a European League of Legends challenger team captained by LCS veteran Mike “Wickd” Petersen.
This would be Denial’s third attempt at cracking the EU LCS in just over a year. Last year the organization acquired the rosters of Departed and Sample Text, only to watch both fall short of expectations and ultimately disband shortly after.
Coming with Wickd will be jungler Joachim “betongJocke” Rasmussen, mid laner Sofyan “CozQ” Rechchad with ad carry Rasmus “MrRalleZ” Skinneholm sharing the bottom lane with support player Daniel “Wendelbo” Wendelbo.
Denial has already knocked out Vortex-Gaming in the summer qualifiers and will face Les Touristes in the semifinals Wednesday. Qualifying for the EUCS would be a key step in their LCS pursuit and will definitely expand Denial’s already extensive presence in the eSports community.
