Johnny “Altec” Ru finds a new home in Gravity Gaming and will look for another opportunity for LCS success.

The off-season shuffle brings more roster changes and the last one is in the home of Gravity Gaming. Formerly captained by veteran jungler Brandon “SaintVicious” Di Marco, now retired, Gravity reached a respectable top six finish in the Spring split. Just last night, it was officially confirmed that Gravity will be making a swap in their bot lane, replacing another League old timer David “Cop” Roberson with rising star Johnny “Altec” Ru.

Formerly of Winterfox, Altec was labeled a marksman to watch but with all his stellar play couldn’t save his team from relegation. Winterfox finished eighth in the regular season and were thus pitted against Challenger team The Dragon Knights, who took Winterfox’s place in the LCS after a 3-1 victory.

Now in Gravity, Altec will get the chance to play with a constant bot lane partner in dedicated Gravity support player Michael “Bunny FuFuu” Kurylo, something he’d love to experience compared to the constant shifts in the position during his time with Winterfox. Gravity have also filled the vacant position of jungler, signing Min-Su “Move” Kang.

Team Gravity roster:

United States Hauntzer (Top)
Korea Move (Jungle)
Korea Keane (Mid)
Canada Altec (AD)
United States Cop (AD)
United States Bunny FuFuu (Support)
