Gambit to steel the “SteeelBack” from Fnatic

It looks like the last time you will see Pierre “SteeelBack” Medjaldi in a Fnatic shirt will be during the Mid Season Invitational’s starting today, May 7th.

“Steeelback” is currently the AD Carry for Fnatic, but it looks like Fnatic want to replace him when the legend Martin “Rekkles” Larrson returns after the Mid Season Invitational in Tallahassee, Fl.  However, “Steeelback” still has the chance to secure his spot within Fnatic for the LCS Summer Split, but with an offer of a trial from Gambit Gaming, “Steeelback” and Fnatic both have a tough choice ahead of them.

Gambit Gaming wants to trial new bottom laners after their poor show in the LCS Spring Split and have been looking at Mohammed Karim “Jebus” Tohki and Edward “Edward” Abgaryan as a duo in the bottom lane, but with Pierre “SteeelBack” Medjaldi potentially being available it gives Gambit Gaming some real food for thought. “Jebus” and “Steeelback” have been seen testing out their compatibility in the bottom lane recently and with positive feedback on their performance together Gambit Gaming look keen to continue to test their compatibility further, once both return from the Mid Season Invitational.

From the strong criticism “Steeelback” recently received in the LCS Spring Split for his lack of damage compared to other AD Carries and his team, this could be a good move for him and a “steeel” for Gambit Gaming.
