SK win the standings race against Fnatic in LCS Europe

Six matches into the season, SK Gaming are flawless and with a 6-0 score they're leading the European rankings of the LCS, no longer tied with Fnatic who dropped their first game last week.

For two weeks, SK Gaming and Fnatic were neck and neck as the teams maintained a spotless record in the LCS, drag-racing for the top spot and waiting for somebody to make the first mistake.

On February 5th, in the fifth LCS EU playday, that somebody was Fnatic, who failed to overcome Unicorns of Love. The LCS newcomers have been struggling to perform against the top ranked teams - losing to Elements in week one and SK Gaming in week two - but didn't disappoint against Yellowstar's team, breaking what was a four-nothing win streak for them.

In the same week, SK continued to be undefeated. They started with a nice win against H2K on Thursday and sealed their 6-0 against Elements the following day in a great comeback game. Elements started the match strong, establishing a 10-2 kill lead, largely thanks to Shook's ganining  pressure.

This was all turned around after a brilliant fight for SK in their own jungle. After Elements missed their Leona ultimate, Svenskeren's Jarvan managed to trap several players of Elements in Cataclysm, setting the stage for Payne's Azir beautifully. The dead inhibitor of Elements that ultimately followed crowned SK Gaming as the only undefeated team so far in the league, three matches before the end of the first round robin.

SK will be looking forward to keeping their position of leaders this week as well, as they face two middle-of-table teams in Copenhagen Wolves and GIANTS Gaming.
